keyframes not working on a mask

I am running into something like this. A masked area will not work if a second keyframe is added. I am trying to make something glow so I selected the area and masked it. I put that mask under the selected effect and turned on frame mode but the moment I add the keyframes, the effect doesn’t work. It’s very frustrating. I am not using the beta and working on a PC.

yeah i ve done that, it doesnt change anything. Like I said some transform tools like exapsion do animate with keyframes but the rest do not.

How do I enter the frame mode? I am using premier pro beta 2025 and expansion animates with the keyframes but the path does not. 

I used a pen masking tool to create a shape. Then i change the shape using keyframing but the keyframe is not automatically created with every shape change. I manually add keyframes and change the shape. The keyframes are added but the shape does not animate.
