Laggy build, keeps losing frames, cannot turn off GPU acceleration, and cannot export

In every version of Premiere (Beta) version 26.x, I have experienced a major dip in performance, so much so that the app is frequently crashing. If I want to click a different part of my timeline, I often have to wait for 2-5 minutes before it is able to unfreeze and show me the part of the video I clicked over to. It keeps giving me the error message, "Error retrieving frame XX.XX.XX" and replaces it with another frame from way later in the video, or just makes it a blank slide. Looking online, it seems that turning GPU acceleration off can help with this, but I can no longer do that because of this update. And now, I cannot even export. Even a small portion of the video, trying to export it begins encoding, and stays on 0% forever, makes no progress ever. This is unusable at this point and it is very frustrating. Please help me. I have tried three to four different versions of the Premiere Beta, and nothing is working. Please, can I at least download a version of 25.0 so I can export my project even as one continuous video and port it over to Premiere Stable?

If you want to downgrade you will have to install 26.1 from the CC desktop app.

You cannot downgrade to 2025.
