Last upgrade on Sept 4th broke projects.

Since the last update on September 4th, premiere has completely broken multiple of the clips in my project. They are simply stuck/frozen in a particular frame and don't playback. If I copy from the source and re-paste all the effects and keyframes they work again but surely this is not intended. How do I recover my project?
