Launching Premiere crashes Chrome

Very weird and frustrating crash. The second I launch Premiere Pro Beta it crashes Chrome (on all 3 windows and all tabs). Then, to make it more fun, it prevents me from opening Chrome again. I have to shut down Premiere before I can use Chrome. Wut? Why would Premiere have anything to do with Chrome?! I suspect it might be something with the graphics card?  I have graphics acceleration disabled for Chrome.

Steps to reproduce:
 Open Premiere Pro Beta v25.1.0.20
 
Result: 
Chrome crashes, then prevents Chrome from restarting.
