Linking Media / Anything high in CPU use crash.

Version 26.0

Using new Mac OS Tahoe 26.1 (25B78) 

MacBook Pro, Apple M3 Pro, 36 GB. 

Whenever I try to link high volumes of media and export any project the programme will crash. This new version seems to increace in CPU usage compared to previous. Not sure if anyone else is having the same issue but I can't seem to go back to any other versions now that don't have bugs or are new enough to open projects.
