WS does not work properly on a clip which has a mask applied.

Render bar stays red: hence bad playback.

No I do not remember which version as this new forum does not let you search ones own posts.

But it was before the introduction of the new mask feature.

Are you applying the mask first and then stabilizing? Or stabilize, then mask?

    Both.

this red render bar has been an issue with the beta on two occasions in the past and has been fixed, but now its back.

This issue is intermittend on clips with a mask applied. when I remove the mask WS stabilizes to a yellow render bar.

    Hi @Ann Bens
Do you recall what version of Premiere you noticed it working as expected? And do you have an order of operations? Are you applying the mask first and then stabilizing? Or stabilize, then mask?

    Here to help.

    Hi @Ann Bens
In instances when nesting is an option, would you say you have found greater success with the mask-and-stabilize working properly? When both effects are applied to a single clip, are there any other failures with the stabilization you notice? Or is it just as you said: “Render bar stays red”?
    Here to help.

    Hi Ann,

I haven't been able to reproduce this yet.  What type of mask are you applying?  Does the application order matter?
