media pending MAJOR error

ever since the most recent beta update 24.5.0  Windows 11 I am having to manually relink ALL of my media every single time I open the project. Also, render files seemingingly disappear into the ether. So the idea of rendering it out has no effect. it renders, then next open it's all "media pending"

Also, the dynamic link server cant connect. 

My hypothestis is that all media created via dynamic link has createda a roadblock upon loading media as a whole. even going into after effects, rendered quicktimes and replace in the cut, and DELETING the dynamic link media from the project, it still wants me to find something to link. I have manually relinked every individual file in the project now 6 times and my progress indicator is still frozen saying linking media.... also "cancel" is grayed out because why wouldn't it be.... 

Everything was fine till yesterday morning. 

I have tried importing my sequnece to a new project, same issue. 

I have played with a million media settings in preferences and project settings...

I'm stuck, any ideas?
