Mercury Transit Issue with trimming clips

In Premiere Pro Beta 26.0.0 Build 34 on a MacBook Pro M4 Max, I cannot trim or extend clips in the timeline when “Enable Mercury Transmit” is turned on. As soon as Mercury Transmit is disabled, trimming works normally again.
