Mercury Transmit Doesn't

I reported this in beta several months ago. Now it’s propagated to the release version 26.0.2.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a project, or create a project and add footage to it.

  1. Configure Playback Preferences so that Mercury Transmit is enabled for a monitor.
  2. Confirm that it works.
  3. Save project and Close Premier
  4. Reopen the same (or any other) project

Result: ...Mercury Transmit does not transmit to the monitor UNLESS you first visit Preferences, choose ANY category without changing anything, and then OK. Then Mercury Transmit will work for the duration of the session. (If you look at Playback preferences, Mercury Transmit will have retained it settings.)

Expected: … For the system to remember to engage Mercury Transmit without having to visit Settings.

I updated the workaround I found in that other thread. Seems to be a bug with legacy workspaces.

Hi @MisterAdvent - This is a known issue please follow this thread for updates: Transmit doesn't launch at startup. You need to open and close the prefs panel to activate it.

I just use one monitor for playback:

I mentioned on the other thread that it is working for me. It continues to work for me in both Beta and 26.02 (Win11-25H2 clean). For a long time now, I’ve had checked both monitors in Preferences/Playback, are you doing it that way?
