Moving Bins Creates a duplicate bin

Most current Beta Build 24, Mac Ventura on a Mac Studio. When I drag a bin in the project panel into another bin, it just duplicates the bin and adds a number at the end.

Thanks for a quick response 🙂

With a little more investigation I found out that my IT-department had locked my computer from updating in the cc-app so I have asked them to remove it. This explains a few things

Cheers

@Jostein35328956qrxq There have been many updates to Premiere Pro (Beta) since when I posted it was fixed. Make sure you go into the Updates section of you Creative Cloud Desktop app and click Check for Updates. The latest one I see there is from yesterday, version 24.4 build 023 which also has this fix.

Hi Matt,

Im sitting on the 24.3 build 24 version, also on mac studio ventura, and my creative cloud app says im up to date. Do you know when the 28build will be released? Im in Norway if that has something to do with it 🙂

When dragging files, they are now duplicated too

Moving anything creates duplicates. It's not just with moving bins. Premiere duplicates clips, bins, and everything every time you move them.   It's driving me crazy.  I can't believe one of the most simple things in the software is broken.
The current solution is to move what you have to move and then delete duplicates.   Premiere has a Consolidate Duplicates function that helps.  But this really needs to be fixed.
