New metadata columns pop up in saved presets

Over the last several versions of Premiere Pro, some new metadata columns have been added. Whenever a new column is added, it seems it is automatically added and populated into carefully saved metadata presets. I have a long list of carefully crafted Metadata Presets, and then suddenly, I have new fields such as "changes," "transcription status," and "content credentials" added to every one of the presets.

While I can go into the metadata display and turn off most of these new presets, doing it for every saved preset is a huge time-waster. To make matters worse, the Changes column doesn't seem to have an option to turn it off.

Just a bump here ... none of the Adobe folks on here can comment on why this is happening and screwing up tons of carefully curated metadata presets?
