New UI Bug: Dragging Breaks When Using Some Transitions

Theres A Weird issue with this new ui. when i drag on a transition from the effects panel. all my click and drag functions break. and trying to drag further causes the old ui to... bleed through? and all dragging does nothing.

 

im unsure to what causes this but. it just happens whenever i drag on transitions. the only way to fix it at this stage is to close out of the sequence and reopen it from another sequence or bin

UPDATE: i was on windows 10 for that test. now on windows 11 i dont get the "bleeding through" but it still acts the same way. where i cannot drag the clip anywhere.

I ALSO FOUND that resizing any clips in the timeline will also fix this issue... until you drag another transition onto the timeline

      i realised it enables some sort of trim mode that locks off the actual layer movement. this is why extending the edit fixes it cause it exits this trim mode
