Nonsense appearing in Metadata & Timecode Burn-in effect using AME

I just exported a 1+ hour sequence from PPro to AME, and upon checking it back, the timecode looks like this:

"#{nbsp}07:01:28:06"

The timecode displays perfectly within PPro. The screwed-up timecode (with the code for "non-breaking space", I believe) is the source clip's timecode. I also have the sequence timecode on another line in the Metadata & Timecode Burn-in effect, and that appears normally on screen in the AME export.

I also exported a very similar sequence directly from PPro, and the timecode appears normally on that.

It's an annoying bug, because the export took about 40 minutes, and I've already sent it to the client.
