Object mask output doesn't make it to exported video

I have created an object mask that tracks in a short sequence.  A Gaussian blur is applied to the masked area. The mask was created by drawing around the item on the first frame of the sequence, and then using imbetweening across the rest of the sequence frames.  This works perfectly - the tracking is awesome.

There are 2 issues:

  • Within Premiere, playback is corrupted (lots of flashing colours across the full canvas). When you pause playback, this settles and shows everything correctly (including the mask and blur).
  • When exporting the sequence to a video, the object mask and blur are ignored (entirely absent).  Exporting individual frames (as BMPs) works correctly.

System spec:

  • Arm processor: Snapdragon(R) X Elite - X1E80100 - Qualcomm(R) Oryon(TM) CPU (3.42 GHz)
  • 64GB RAM
  • Windows 11 25H2
  • Version 25.6.0 BETA (Build 102)

The new Object Masking tool feels unfinished in a pretty basic way: exports aren’t reliable (and in my case, they fail completely when exporting form Media encoder).

Hard to believe this made it through pre launch testing, especially since export issues were widely reported the moment the beta dropped. Four months later, there still isn’t a consistent fix or even clear guidance.

Workaround: export from Premiere, not Media Encoder. Not a real solution, but it worked.

If there’s an official workaround or an actual ETA for a fix, please share it.

Noting the pinned reply here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-beta-bugs/new-mask-tool-effects-not-exporting/idi-p/15495270

Enabling New Masking in Media Encoder does not fix the problem for me.  ME shows me a warning saying "Some object masks are offline and will be ignored".  However, exporting directly from Premiere does include the mask correctly.

I still have the colour flashing problem... see these images.  As in original post, the neon colour flashes appear during playback within Premiere, but settle when paused, and it exports fine.
