Paste Attributes not working

I'm editing speech, I've used a multiband compressor with the "Broadcast" preset on one of the clips. I copy it then select the clips I'd liek to paste to, select paste attributes, make sure the check box nect to "multiband compressor" is selected but nothing happens. I have tried several times.
