I have .mov file that are speed converted and then nested. So I can apply warp stabilization. To auto track the new object mask works fine moste of the time. But to mask manualy by making a path with keyframes is not working at all in thus beta for me. Nothing happends when I ad a keyframe.
Thanks Trent! I think I have figured it out now. But man... This new mask-tools is all over the palce, What a mess! Its the penmask tool, the pen tool, The effect control-window and then the program-window. Its not very intutive att all! I still dont relly understand when the Path is effected compaird to the transform "slot" and when I can and can't manualy effect the mask after I tracked it. Object tool vs pen tool gives you different options. Then you have the Unassinged Mask menu that have its life of its own and crashes offten when interacting with it. And to add or substract mask to the object mask tool is not working very well at all in real life situations! It is so mixed feelings since we have wating sooooo long for this and it saves so much time and make the color grading easier like in matching the branch standard a bit more. But pleas make it a real tool instead of sprinkle it all over the place!
As Ann mentioned, we have added Clip and Frame modes for the new Masking. For manual changes, you want to be in Frame mode (switch in bottom left portion of the Program Monitor).
