Playback is very slow to respond after clicking play

The playback is extremely slow to respond when editing the timeline on the latest Premier Pro Beta 25.1 (Australian date 17 October 2024). I click the play button and wait 30-60 seconds for playback to begin. I have a high-end NVidia Graphics Card, cleared memory caches, 32 GB RAM and 1TB storage space. This did not occur on the standard Premier Pro 2024 versions.
