playback speed

I've searched and this is a well known bug. Long story short, when attempting to playback video in the timeline, the video plays back at 2X or greater speeds for a few seconds before it plays at a normal speed. If you go into hardware settings and disable microphone input, the bug goes away, (I saw this fix in a youtube video from 2020). This issue is still happening today on my windows computers. Thanks!
