Pr [Beta] Rotoscoping not included in batch exports via Adobe Media Encoder

I have a batch of videos that required rotoscoping with the new Rotoscoping tool in Premiere Pro Beta. When I send the batch to Adobe Media Encoder for export, the files are produced without error messages, but the rotoscoping is missing in the final renders.
If I export clips one-by-one from Premiere Pro’s own Export panel, the rotoscoping is included correctly. However, exporting individually is not a viable workflow for me because I handle large batches of videos. This suggests the problem is specific to Adobe Media Encoder in batch exports.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Import a batch of videos into Premiere Pro Beta.

  2. Apply the new Rotoscoping tool to each clip.

  3. Select the clips and choose Send to Adobe Media Encoder.

  4. Export the batch from Media Encoder → the final files are missing the rotoscoping.

  5. Control test: export the same clips individually from Premiere Pro’s Export panel → the rotoscoping appears correctly.

What should have happened:
All exported files should include the applied rotoscoping, including when queued and exported via Adobe Media Encoder.

What actually happened:
Rotoscoping is omitted when exporting via Media Encoder. It does appear when exporting one by one from Premiere Pro’s Export panel, but that is not practical for large batches.

Third-party plugins or panels installed:
None.

System specifications:
-MacBook Pro 16-inch (Nov 2024)
-Chip: Apple M4 Pro
-Memory: 24 GB
-Startup disk: Macintosh HD
-macOS: Sequoia 15.1
-Adobe Premiere Pro (Beta) Version 25.6.0 (Build 58)
-Adobe Media Encoder (Beta) Version 25.6 (Build 55)

I created a simple rotoscope using the object mask tool. It worked great last Friday. After I did the update on premier pro beta, the app immediately started failing and crashing. I didn't move any folders or make any changes to the clips that were masked. I rebuilt the clips from scratch in a new project, used the object mask tool, rendered, and it played back great. But every time I try to export it Premiere Pro Beta crashes. It just doesn't work on exporting through premiere beta or media encoder. The proj folder is sitting on my hard drive too. I tried everything with no luck.

It's buggy. 🪳🪳🪳

Unfortunately, the problem persists.

I realized that if, before exporting, I nested everything, the timeline included the rotoscoping... so I worked like that for a few days.

Today I realized there was a new update and I thought it would solve my problem, but now, instead, the nesting method no longer works.

Hi @Bingoconcept - If you’re exporting with AME, go to the Beta menu in the menu bar and make sure masking is enabled.
