Premiere (Beta) v 26.1.1.026 (2026-02-10) constantly crashes constantly crashes during different events, and I can't figure out what causes it. Sometimes I'm not doing anything at all... crash. Sometimes I'm moving text on the timeline... crash. Sometimes it doesn't like the way I looked at it... crash. Unusable at this point.

    Build 26.1.1.32 (2026-1-20) is stable.

    Thanks,

I noticed someone mentioned it happens when they only open existing documents but not necissarily when creating new projects. I always work off a template, so I'm always opening an existing document almost 100% of the time.

Hi! I do not have any third party plugins or panels installed. I also do not receive a crash dialog box. When I reopen the beta app, it does have the red marker near the bottom saying it crashed and would I like to reopen my most recent project.

Hi @NathanB3021 - Have you tried importing your sequence into a new project?  Can you post a screenshot of the error message.

When opening the app, I hold "opt + CMD" and it let's me open Premiere Pro without third-party plugins. And I'm on a M1 Max MacBook Pro. If I attempt to open a file created in a previous version, it instantly crashes with no crash dialog box. Upon reopening the app, it says an error occurred and asks if I want to reopen the file.

Hi @NathanB3021 - When you say safe mode what do you mean? Do you receive a crash dialog box? are you on mac or windows?

I get the same thing any time I'm opening a file. New projects seem fine. Only third-party plugin I have is Blackmagic Raw, but I tried it in "safe mode" and still happened.

01-19-2026 well as of 26.1.1 (build 31) - it's still unusable. Crashes on open. If it doesn't crash on open, it will crash a few seconds later. Nothing works. I had to update to build 31 to get back the ability to do transcripts, since that didn't work in the last STABLE beta build. This crashing really needs to be addressed ASAP. Seems to happen to a lot of people. I'm on a Mac Mini M4 Pro, Tahoe 26.3
