Premiere Pro 26.3 and Premiere Pro (Beta) 26.5 both crash in MacOS Golden Gate Beta 3.

Premiere Pro 26.3 and Premiere Pro (Beta) 26.5 both crash in MacOS Golden Gate Beta 3 (MacOS 27). M4 Pro Mac Mini, 64 GB RAM. The Beta won’t even launch fully and always quits, while 26.3 will let you open it, but basically the moment you do anything in it, it crashes. Both are basically unusable at the moment.

    I downloaded the Beta version and it would not allow me to open old files. It gave an error message with no number. I uninstalled the beta version to no difference. Then uninstalled and reinstalled Premier with no change and the same error message. What am I supposed to do to get Premier back. Mac OS 26.5.2 on a M5 MacBook Pro.

    This issue should be addressed with macOS 27 Developer Beta 4 / Public Beta 2 (26A5388g). If you’ve been seeing crashes in Premiere please make sure to get the latest macOS Beta.

      hi, i have the premiere beta v27.0 and the problem still persists. I have the latest macOS and still can’t work since it is still crashing every 2 minutes.

        This is now resolved under today’s release of Beta 4.

        This is now resolved as of 07-20-2026 on MacOS 27 Golden Gate Beta 4, at least with 26.3. Still need to test 26.5.

        I have the same problem. I installed macOS Golden Gate Beta 3 (MacOS 27) and then the problem started when I add clips to a project. Any clip has the problem. the problem is wirth premiere 26 and 25

        This is now resolved under today’s release of Beta 4 I think. At least with 26.3 it is with me.

        Welcome back to the Premiere forums, glad you’re here. Thanks for including information about your issue, including the Premiere versions 26.3 and the Beta v26.5 on your M4 Pro Mac mini.  

        I see that in addition to that, you’re currently using a beta version MacOS with the Golden Gate Beta 3. I’ve seen reports of issues with crashing on launch and more, as that is not currently supported in Premiere. I would treat it as a Beta environment while using Golden Gate Beta 3 (whether in v26.3 or beta of Premiere) and go back to Tahoe for more stability, otherwise until it’s shipped and supported.

        Are you sending in any crash reports? You can submit the crash logs and DM us the email associated with Adobe sent in that report to pass along to our team, in the meantime.

        Hi Katie, thanks for the response. Yes, I’m sending crash reports to hopefully help fix the issue. The typical crash fixes, such as resetting the preferences and other things by holding down shift + command are not working either, so I’m trying to be as thorough as possible. Thanks again.
