Premiere Pro Beta hangs indefinitely on exit, while stable Premiere 2026 closes normally

Premiere Pro Beta frequently hangs when exiting and has to be force-terminated in Task Manager. After Effects Beta shows the same behavior. Stable Premiere Pro 2026 on the same Windows system closes normally.

Troubleshooting already performed:

• Tested with empty projects.
• Reset preferences and caches.
• Removed third-party MediaCore plugins.
• Tested without Creative Cloud/CCXProcess startup.
• Tested different audio devices and with external audio hardware disconnected.
• Tested CUDA and OpenCL renderers.
• Removed problematic/duplicate LUTs.
• None of these changed the shutdown hang.

Important diagnostic finding:
Windows Wait Chain Analysis showed one Premiere thread waiting on another internal Premiere thread.
In Process Explorer, the waited-on thread contained calls from:

dunamis-ingest.dll
dunamis_http_setSendRequestCallback
dunamis_ingest_updateMPEvent

This appears to happen during application shutdown.

Expected result:
Premiere Pro Beta should exit normally within a few seconds.

Actual result:
Premiere remains running indefinitely and must be terminated manually.

Additional information:
The same issue occurs in After Effects Beta, while stable Premiere Pro 2026 exits normally on the same machine.
