Premiere Pro Beta v26.x crashes immediately on Intel Mac + AMD Vega II

On macOS 26.2 (Intel Xeon W, Radeon Pro Vega II 32 GB), Premiere Pro Beta v26.x crashes on launch. First assert: dvacore::config::IsClientNameInitialized(). Clicking “Ignore” triggers a second assert: sClientNameInitialized, and the app terminates. Stable Premiere launches normally. No third-party plugins installed. Beta projects cannot open in Stable due to version mismatch. Likely caused by static init of DebugDatabase / client config.

Steps to Reproduce:

Install Beta v26.x

Launch the app

Expected Result:
App launches normally.

Actual Result:
App crashes before UI loads.

@jamieclarke I just emailed you the Sentry-db folder zip. Premiere stable does open without any issues. I downloaded using the Creative Cloud desktop app Version 6.8.0.821

Hi @kt1 - Does the stable release open for you?  How did you download the beta?

Can you navigate to your desktop and click "go" in the menu bar hold down the option key and you will see "Library" appear. Click on Library > Caches > Adobe > Premiere Pro (Beta) > 26.0 > and then zip the Sentry-db folder and email it to jamiec@adobe.com

@jamieclarke I was able to check all those boxes after holding shift during launch. Still get Application Not Responding but a different assert in the crash dialog. Screenshot attachedScreenshot 2025-12-15 at 9.58.01 AM.png

Hi @kt1 - Can you try and hold down "SHIFT" while launching Premiere and check the boxes
"Reset app preferences" (Backup Preferences first)
"Clear media cache files"
"Reset plugin loading cache"
"Disable third-party plugins (one-time only)"

@jamieclarke I'm not able to get Premiere (Beta) to launch, so I can't navigate to the help menu > Licensing Diagnostics. It just says Application Not Responding and shows the Debug Asset failed! dialog. The menu bar never appears. Is there any other way to get Licensing Diagnostics?

Hi @kt1 - Thanks for the screenshots.  Can you navigate to the help menu > Licensing Diagnostics... then take a screenshot of the dialog box and email it to jamiec@adobe.com

@jamieclarke Thanks for taking a look. I have v 26.1.0.012 (2025-12-13) installed. A couple of screenshots attached of the asserts I'm seeing. Screenshot 2025-12-15 at 9.28.12 AM.pngScreenshot 2025-12-15 at 9.27.50 AM.png

Hi @kt1 - Do you get a crash dialog box?  Can you post a screenshot of the asserts you are seeing.  What is the exact build you are working on?  you can find it in the menu bar under Premiere (Beta) > About Premiere

I have Premiere (Beta) 26.1 installed, but the same issue was happening with 26.0
