Preparing Audio in Media Encoder

This seems to be a persistent problem since previous versions.  Please fix.

Steps to reproduce:
In my case:

1. Create a project with about 40 audio files down the timeline

2. Edit stills on the video tracks to sync with the audio files

3. Select a short section to export (aroud 30 sec. worth)

4. Send to Media Encoder

Result: ...

Media encoder has to process 40 audio files before it renders the video.  Rendering video takes 2 seconds. It takes about 30 seconds to process all the audio.

Expected: ...
For it to take 10 seconds to render the whole thing. Only one audio file was selected to export.
System info
    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.1.0.56
OS: Windows v10.0.22621, RAM: 63.80 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16

Hey

Audio sample rate in the timeline.

Example:
Timeline at 48khz and audio files at 32khz or others.

To resolve.

Configure your timeline for most audio sample rates.

Premiere converts "audio preparing" audio files to the timeline's sample rate.

Adobe engineers have no interest in fixing this issue -- The "preparing audio" function is wholeheartedly not needed in order to export a video. I've been exporting videos since 1998 and I never needed to prepare my audio until now. Don't expect this issue to be to be fixed, because what the hell do editors know about video editing? But at least you have 40 different ARRI codecs to make your youtube videos.
