Program monitor not displaying clips in color mode

In color mode, when I select a clip from the clip grid, it no longer displays the clip in the program monitor. The color controls still change and display the appropriate operations, but the clip itself doesn’t change.

System info
    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v26.5.0.16
OS: macOS v26.5.0, RAM: 64.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 12

    UPDATE (with workaround):

    • Reproducible trigger: Program Monitor stops displaying clips in Color Mode when the clip grid is sorted by anything other than default order
    • Workaround: Reverting to the default sort order restores Program Monitor functionality
    • Aggravating factor: Connecting/disconnecting an external monitor while Premiere is open may trigger or worsen the issue

Bug: Program Monitor stops displaying the selected clip in Color workspace. Color controls still function and affect the clip but the monitor is frozen on the first clip that was active when Color workspace was opened.

    • Footage: Panasonic V-Log

How it started: The issue began after connecting to a second external monitor while Premiere Beta was open. The bug persisted after disconnecting the monitor.

    What I’ve ruled out:

    • Not a System Display Settings issue — no ghost monitors present, display settings look normal
    • Not a footage/codec issue — V-Log footage works correctly in a fresh project
    • Not a preferences issue — full manual preference reset performed by clearing the 26.0 preferences folder, Premiere relaunched with fresh welcome screens but bug persisted
    • Not a media cache issue — cache was cleared, bug persisted
    • Not a project copy issue — Save a Copy produced the same bug
    • Computer restart does not fix the issue
    • Re-installing Premiere Beta - same problem

    Confirmed:

    • The bug is isolated to the specific project file — a new test project with the same V-Log footage works correctly in Color workspace
    • The renderer options are grayed out and inaccessible (possible related bug)
