As of the recent update - I can no longer chhose where to store my Premiere Files.

The New Project window used to give you the option to choose where everything saves.

Thanks Parul

I'll send you an email shortly.

The breadcrumb at the top (in the beta) seems to control the preview for asset import - not the project location.

Hey Nikheil,

I see that option of file path is available as file path is shown in the form of breadcrumbs at top  in Pr Beta too. But it's interesting the project file cannot be found at the same location when you try to access it. Is that a Finder screenshot?

We can troubleshoot this more, could you please write to parulgup@adobe.com to help me investigate it further?

Also, I note that now Pr Beta 24.5 build 16 is out as well (more recent than 14, that you are on)

Hi Parul

I am running the Beta v 24.5.0.014 (2024-04-18)

Perhaps I am not choosing the relevant option.

When I choose New Project, I am presented with the following screen

I have chosen my project location, but am prompted that the project already exists

The folder location is empty, so the project does not exist.

With the normal version of Premiere, the following option is available (highlighted in red)

This is not visible in the Beta (as seen above).

Hi Nikhiel,

Sorry about your experience. Could you share which version of Premiere Pro you are on?

Are you using Pr Beta? If yes, you should see a New Project (.prproj) and New Project beta (.pr) . Please share which one you are on.

I just tried on latest version and it gives an option to choose a path when I tried both Pr Beta 24.5 and Pr 24.3 on my Macbook.
