Project (.prproj) files being automatically DELETED - Premiere Pro Beta 25.6.0 (Build 102)

Bug description
When closing Premiere Pro, the current project file is sometimes moved to the macOS Bin (Trash). Unsure of the exact trigger or sequence of events, but the behaviour has occurred across multiple projects. Yesterday I emptied the Bin before noticing, resulting in loss of work.

File structure
Project files (.prproj) are stored in a folder synced with iCloud Drive. Media files are stored separately on external SSDs.

System details

  • macOS 15.6.1 (24G90)

  • Premiere Pro Beta 25.6.0 (Build 102)

  • MacBook Pro (M1 Max, 32GB RAM)

  • Model Identifier: MacBookPro18,2

  • System Firmware Version: 11881.140.96

Thanks. Agreed - I’ll keep a close eye on the project folders and see if a pattern emerges. Since no one else has reported this kind of issue, it’s probably something specific to my system. If it persists, I’ll try moving the project files to a non-iCloud folder to test.

Yours is the first report of anything like this behavior.

If you can provide steps which reliably reproduce the behavior, we'd be happy to pursue it further. 

It would be interesting to know whether projects NOT in iCloud-sync'd folders display anything like this behavior, on your system.
