list of bugs and awkward work flows  don't even bother telling anyone about - there are a whole lot that I just acept as normal because they are so inexplicable and would cost me more time to sort than work around e.g. this morning every time I tried to cop a seuence PP 25.6 crashed - so I just made a new sequence and copied and pasted the previous timeline into that (so I can still have the origional cut while working on the next version). Here are other things that seem to be happening unless I am imagining it and I just wanted to see if anyone else has these bugs and irritations too:

1) At certain mid magnifications of the timeline delete (ctr x) and ripple delete (set to D on my shortcut) just don't work - nothing happens until I change the timeline magnification

2) 25.6 has made sub menus for several of the contextual options when you right click - e.g. fill now has to go via another menio called video actions, nest in on the new menu  - making an extra layer of clicking to get what you want

3) The export transcript menu has now got two weird new formats and they have completely got rid of the SRT format that might help YouTube do timings for closed captions. No explanation - spent hours trying to find out why or where it had gone with no result.

4)  Masking may have a great new AI tool but all the manual ones you need too are now impossible to find

5) No short cuts for the most frequently used actions such as 'reveal in project'. There seems to be a few useful ones added though such as shift 5 for the effects controls panel

6) Undocked panels get easily lost - I have three screens and I am constantly looking for 'lost' panels hidden under others or off screen. Resttting workspace takes more time and requires undocking again to get back to where I was with the panel arrangement (yes I could save it but I have so many scenarios)

7) Why make you go back to source transcript so you can change the speakers names when you could just edit 'unknown' directly from the timeline transcript?

There are more but that will do for now lol

    @Hiddenpictures Ltd,

    You appear to be in the Beta 2.6.0.xx; this thread is regarding the Release version 25.5.0.

    Those are new and very exciting options that will allow use of external transcription and more. SRT exports are done from the Captions tab of the Text panel, not the Transcript tab.
