Render time indicator way inaccurate

Things are rendering about as expected in this build, but the "remaining" time is way off. This project is taking about 5 minutes to do 16 minutes (about normal with downscaling), but it's starting at 15 seconds, then slowly edging up to 45 seconds, then holding +/- 40 seconds the whole time.
Does this in both direct timeline render and AME (25.1.b57)
