Return trip from Photoshop askew until project reload

Steps to reproduce:
1. Load a TIF image on timeline

2. Right click | Edit in Adobe Photoshop

3. Make any changes, Save

4. Premier takes a few seconds to acknowledge the change, then...
 
Result: ... Image displays with chroma and position shifted
Expected: ... Image to display normally

Workaround:

Restart Premier and reload project.  (Just closing project and reloading it does not clear the anamoly).
