Scene Edit Detection immediately crashes app whenever used. Can't automatically cut clips, which is a critical feature for workflow. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

Still facing the same issue.

It has been almost an year and Adobe still haven't paid attention to this.

I'm on a MacBook Pro M2 Max, 64 GB. Running on Sonoma 14.1.

I'm experiencing the same issue.

My specs are Macbook Pro 2020, 16GB RAM, on MacOS Sonoma 14.0.

Running Premiere Pro Version 24.0.3 (build 2)

Premiere Pro is the only thing running on task manager and scene edit detection is taking more than 60GB of memory.

To be a bit more specific: Premiere Pro Version 23.3.0 BETA (Build 41) and upwards should include that fix.

Hi Mary, thanks for reporting this issue. Please upgrade to the latest beta version - we believe the crash should be fixed there.
