“Show Duplicate Frame Markers” is not working properly

Windows 11, any build of the Premiere 26. Duplicates are displayed incorrectly. For example, I have 3 duplicates, but it only shows 1. I don’t have any duplicates—it shows that there’s one file and that it’s a duplicate))))))) I have a duplicate video, but no duplicate audio—it shows the opposite. What’s going on with you guys at Adobe?) My screen shows two videos and two audio files. It doesn't detect duplicates for the audio files, but it does detect duplicates for the videos—it just doesn't show which file is the duplicate.I've cleared the cache twice—please don't mention the cache to me. I replaced the SSD with a new one. How can I fix this problem?

Upvoted. It is working correctly in the Beta.

I think the duplicate indication is not updating correctly. I tested in 26.2.2 on Win11. I created a sequence with a single video/audio clip, and then added it again at the end. I turned on duplicate frame markers, and, as expected, both clips show entirely duplicates.

Then I cut the first clip in half and deleted the second half. What is expected is that the first (cut) clip will be all duplicate, and the second clip will show as duplicate only the first half. What I see is both clips still duplicates.

If I close and reopen the sequence, it is correct.

I tested in Beta 26.5.0.2. It correctly shows the current status of the duplicates.

the beta version stopped launching for me. Nothing happens when I try to launch it, even though the beta version of Photoshop works.And why would I need a beta version if they've released a stable build (if they consider that to be stable)?The beta version is used to test new features. But I need the standard features to work

Totally agree. I suggest the Beta only for testing, rarely as a workaround suggestion. But, as in this case, I test the Beta and report, because a) if its not fixed there, that’s where the fix needs to be identified and b) if it is fixed there, that increases the chances that a fix may happen as soon as the next release.

Does the reopen sequence workaround get the duplicate frame markers correct for you?
