No audio when trying to export a MP4 using High Quality 1080p HD, H.264, audio format AAC, sample rate 48000 Hz Stereo, and bitrate 320. After export I get a video only, no audio. I do get audio if I export in a mov format.

I tried rendering a file that I made yesterday. It also does not have sound. The one I rendered yesterday works fine.

What i get after render now is a mp4 file with no sound and a acc file sound.

    Hi @montysmagic,

Welcome to the Premiere forums. Thank you for reporting this occurrence. For the team to try to better assist you, we’ll need more information:

    • What is the exact Premiere version you’re using?
    • Please specify Windows or macOS, along with the version.
      • GPU Driver (Windows only): Please let us know your video card driver version. We recommend updating to the most recent version; for NVIDIA users, we strongly recommend the Studio version of the driver.
    • How is audio set up in your sequence?
      • For example, are you using a multi-channel track?
      • If possible, please share your sequence settings.
    • If possible, share a screen recording of your export settings.
      • When exporting, is match source selected?

    For additional context:

    • Does it affect all projects or only some?
    • Does it affect new, empty projects?
    • When did the problem first begin?
      • Was anything recently updated in your system?
      • Did it ever work as expected on your system?

    Suggestions:

    • Is it playback or a file issue? Can you please confirm testing playback in another media player? (VLC for example)
      • Alternatively, try importing the export file back into Premiere to check specs and audio.
    • Additionally, try clearing the cache before another export. (Hold Shift on launch).

Sorry for the frustration. I hope the team can help you soon.

    Best,

    Jonathan
