Spelling tool failure

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a subtitle track in a sequence and enter text on it.
2. In text mode, select the language and enable spell checker.

 
Result:

1. The firts words in very segment are underlined, even when properly spelled.
2. Mispelled words are not underlined.

Expected:

1. Only mispelled words or word not in the dictionary should be underlined
