Stack Overrun and Export tab doesnt work

I have been experiencing these 2 problems for a few weeks now, so I assumed everyone was, but since they are not fixed I figured I should report them.

Whenever I click anything in the timeline I get a stack overrun error.  It doesnt cause any issue other than being in the way of resizing the timeline, which is annoying enough.

When I click the export tab, nothing happens.  I get the generic "offline media will encode..." message, but it never goes to the export screen.  The simple work around is just to click file - export - send to media encoder and adjust the settings there.

Am I doing something wrong?  Or is everyone having these issues?
