Suddenly h.265 footage won't play.

This just started.  I have a project with some DJI drone footage that’s h.265 8-bit at about 97Mbps. It played fine yesterday and exported perfectly.  Today it won’t play in the same project, same build. Playback freezes on first frame while timeline indicator progresses.  Clip will scrub, just will not play.

I updated the beta builld to what is reported below

I updated nVidia drivers (5080)

Created a new project, imported the footage, new timeline from clip - still no playback.

I loaded same footage into a shipping version (26.5.3) and it works fine.

What happened to h.265?

Same here. Running on Macbook Pro M4.
Cant gent client work done! Whasted 2 hours on finding a solution. Its DJI Mavic Footage that worked a few days ago. Now it wont play back and wont export. Just still frame.
Quitting Adobe for sure now!

I had to render my footage to h.264 or pro res for it to work. Or revert to the shipping version. Seems to be a beta problem. Today’s build didn’t fix it.
