Text "fi" with Font "BigCaslon" can't use in Text

When I try to type "Finish", tex field always go out from screen.

I'm using BigCaslon font.

There have been bugs that create the disappearing text with ligatures, or crashes. They should all be fixed by the latest versions.

fi is a ligature. Some fonts don't support them, or ones that do give incorrect results under some circumstances.

You can turn them off. In the Text section of the Properties (Essential Graphics if pre-PR2025), click the wrench and deselect ligatures.
