The choice of violet for "movie clips" is a poor one.

With default colors, I'm losing video clips on the timeline, especially if the track is compressed and the opacity graph isn't showing.  With the background in dark (default), the violet color blends in. If I increase interface brightness, it's a little better, but then other gray-on-gray controls become hard to read. I can customize the label colors, but by default it's very annoying.
