The importer reported a generic error, trying to link media.

So I was just restarting premiere pro like i usually do and when i came back 97% of clips in the seqeunce were gone but still in the Bin (not in the project, i know, i have no idea how they ended up in the bin, i didn't choose it) so i tried to link the media, it found the missing video file and then i tried to click ok, then it just said the importer reported a generic error, COME ON IT EVEN FOUND THE ORIGINAL FILE!!! this is really annoying me and i can't lose this project (image below is an example

I have the same Issue When I link media I get that generic error even if I locate the file path its annoying

Did anything about the media change, since the last time you used it in PPro? 

Looks like the media is within your /Users directory; did you ever import that same media into your project, from within a different directory?

Also, can't see it in the "Locate Media"  screenshot, but is the "last path" just a truncated version of the "path"?
