Timeline freezes for about 5 to 7 seconds

Hi,
Every time I cut footage, the timeline freezes for about 5 to 7 seconds before unfreezing. This issue wasn't present in the previous update. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

I'm working in 4k with proxy.
System info:
x64-based PC
TUF gaming x570-plus
64GB

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060
12GB for Premiere
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 10-Core

Probably related to this bug i'm experiencing (minus the GUI issues).

Is the vut you are making from a longform video clip or in other ways conneted to something that could force Premiere to access other clips on your timeline? It's my best guess so far. No workaround, yet, although you can try disabling the new auto log detection/conversion.
