TRANSCRIBIR CLIPS DE ORIGEN

Continuamente, FRUSTRANTEMENTE MAS DE LO QUE ME GUSTARÍA ADMITIR, aparece un mensaje a la hora de transcribir y generar textos de los videos que dice "Transcribir clips de origen" Transcriba sus clips de origen para ver su transcripción de secuencia. el problema es que esos SON LOS CLIPS DE ORIGEN no entiendo a que se refiere con clips de origen si estoy comenzando un proyecto nuevo ¿no debería asumir que cada clip en el proyecto es el clip de origen? esto me parece un tema frustrante y muy incómodo pues me hace perder demasiado tiempo. pasa constantemente y no hay mayores explicaciones de como solucionarlo.

    Yes, the text-based editing terminology can be confusing.

    Yes, all video/audio files/clips that you import are "source" clips. And they could have omitted "source" and worded the alert/instruction - "Transcribe your clips to view your sequence transcription." But it is important to understand the difference between "source" and "sequence" transcripts, and that emphasis may help some users.

     

    To illustrate the content: you start a project, and you import two clips. They are "source" clips. Let's assume you transcribe each of them, and then add them to a sequence. They are still source clips, but you can view a) the original transcript of each source clip or b) the transcript of the sequence - what is left after editing the source clips.

     

    If you add the clips to a sequence before you transcribe them, you get the message you describe. You are in a sequence, and there is no transcript because you have not transcribed one or more of the source clips. 

     

    You can have a non-source transcript when you create a "static transcription"of the sequence itself. When you edit a sequence that has a static transcription, the transcript does not change. This is the "old" transcript that was used prior to the introduction of text-based editing.
