Transcript editing in v23 Beta

Split and Merge and speaker adjusting not working. Clicking on the Split or Merge buttons or selecting to edit the speaker has no effect.
 
System info
    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.0.0.33
    OS: macOS v12.5.1, RAM: 16.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 12

    Inday,

     

    This is an old thread (by Beta standards, where there are new builds almost every day). If this is not working for you, please report what Beta version you are using. A screenshot would help.  I just updated and am on 23.5.0 Build 15.

     

    Split, Merge, and Edit Speaker are all working for me. However, note that when I tested with only a single Source Media type transcript, the split/merge buttons are not present. Also, I did not have autotranscribe on, and no speaker preference set, so speaker was shown as Unknown. So set that preference first if you are working with source transcripts.

    Following this as I would like to know how to change part of one speaker's transcript to another speaker.
