Transcript option

When opening the TRANSCRIPT tab in TEXT in de beta version a dialogue window appear with a question if you would auto-transcript every scene. There only the option to choose YES and if you close the window on the closing cross instead of choosing the yes option it starts transcribing instead of showing the options window were you can choose language etcetera.

This happens also in the 23.4 version of PP, there the dialogue window dissapears after a second of showing up. So I am not able to choose a different language than English because the Transcribe button starts the process instead of showing the options window.

It is confusing as to when this prompt appears and also when you get a dialogue when selecting transcribe for source media. I think you get this auto-transcribe prompt once after you start pr (not sure if it needs to be a new project), and add an untranscribed clip to a sequence.

 

But I am not getting your result on Win10 in Release 23.4.0 and Beta 23.5.0.33.

 

The message to turn on auto-transcribe has an Enable button and an X, and dismisses itself after a few seconds.

 

In preferences, I have no autotranscribe set. When I click the X, I simply get no action.

 

What OS are you running? What Beta build? How do you have your Transcription preferences set?
