Transcription Is Generating Garbage

I have been running transcription on my MacBook since I bought it early last year. From highly accurate it has gone to absolute garbage in the past few weeks. The translation has no resemblance to the video. I run several different mics depending on what I am doing and it doesn't make a difference. I use the text for captioning and summarising the blog. Quite frustrating.

@ApplebyVisualArts ah so an update from the team working on this. We're aware of the issue and it is true that in Beta right now, the transcription output is worse than it used to be. We're working on a fix.

@ApplebyVisualArts Thanks for trying what Stan suggested. So if you take one clip, and import it into 25.6.4 it transcribes fine, but that same clip imported into Beta 26.1.1 results in a bad transcript?

So I had a few minutes and downloaded version 25.6.4 Build 5. I just loaded up a clip and a subclip of that clip. Both transcribed reasonably well (probably as good as in the past) but the subclip text was not in sync with the video.

I am currently running 26.1.1. I have just been running the Beta versions for the past few months. I haven't tried a Release Version. I can download one and give it a go. It will take me a few days though.
