Video timeline playback freeze

In one of my projects, as soon as I try to play from the timeline video freezes.
I can play individual clips in folders and even on the timeline by doubleclicking them. But as soon as I try to play on the timeline, it freezes and I can't play any more videos at all, even in folders.
My other projects works..
I have tried empying cashe and resetting preferences.
