Waveforms Wiggle when adjusted

Ever since dynamic waveforms for trimming (etc) was added, something about it felt... off. but I couldn't really put my finger on why. I think this might be why. While this bug isn't game breaking in any way, it is incredibly distracting and makes making adjustments a lot stranger feeling than they otherwise should

  1. Version of the app
        v25.4 (build 25) (Edit: latest checked: 25.4.0.32)
  2. Platform and OS version
        Windows 11 (10.0.22631 Build 22631)
System: Ryzen 7900x, nvidia 4080, 96GB RAM, all SSDs, etc
  3. Basic steps to reproduce the problem
Import track, extend edit. Appears to affect multicam audio even more than normal tracks. Has to be grabbed from the BEGINNING edge of the clip - as I show in wiggle2.mp4, grabbing from the back of the clip doesn't seem to cause the issue
  4. Expected result and actual result
Waveforms should stay in place as adjusting an edit point isn't moving a clip

Hi @Tom_edit - Thanks for the report.  This is now fixed for regular audio clips as of PPro (Beta) 25.4.0 x45.  We are currently working on a fix for nests/multicam/gen extend'd/remix'd clips.  I'll update once that fix is in the build.

Best regards,

Michael

It's small but I see it on 25.4.0 b25 / Win11 24H2
