When selecting a video clip, then trying to use "effect control" premier pro (beta) crashes

Currently having issues with the "effect control" panel in premier pro (beta) whenever I click on a video thats on my timeline, then try to change its effect using the "effect control" the whole thing crashes.

The "adobe creative cloud diagnostics" app pops up but shows no error. It doesnt show anything, it just stocks on my dock on my home screen. 

Even when i clock on it, it never loads. Just bounces.. doing nothing. 

Its been like this for two days, I have loads of videos to edit. Please fix ASAP!
