When try to start a new project in Premiere and give it a name and location for the files, it freezes

I launch Premiere 2026, I give the project a name then go to my external hard drive to give the project a location…. when I click the create button, Premiere freezes

    You should give more info. I’m on Windows and I’m not having that issue. Take a look at this post and it will give you and idea of what to include on a bug report.
