Adobe Podcast Studio project loads indefinitely and crashes Chrome ("Aw, Snap!") after successful processing

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone from the Adobe Podcast team (or another user who's experienced this) can help.

I'm a Creative Cloud Premium subscriber, and I've run into a problem with one specific Adobe Podcast Studio project.

Project details

• Recorded using Adobe Podcast Remote Recording
• Approximately 1 hour 19 minutes long
• Project name: More Closely Aligned S01E01

The issue

The recording completed successfully, and Adobe Podcast displayed the normal message indicating that processing had finished.

The project appears correctly in My Projects, including:

• the project title,
• a transcript preview,
• the correct recording duration (1:18:56).

However, when I click the project to open it in the editor, it initially loaded indefinitely. After several minutes, Chrome would crash with an "Aw, Snap!" error.

Interestingly, after leaving the project open overnight, I can now partially access the editor:

• the transcript loads,
• the timeline shows the full recording duration,
• speaker identification is visible,
• I can generate a Share link.

However, the preview pane continues loading indefinitely, and if I click Export, Chrome immediately crashes again with "Aw, Snap!" before the export process begins.

Troubleshooting already performed

• Created a brand-new test project → works normally.
• Opened another Adobe Podcast recording from July 15 (also about one hour long) → opens and edits without any issues.
• Duplicated the affected project → same behaviour.
• Waited several days after processing completed.
• Restarted Chrome and my Mac.
• Confirmed I'm using the latest version of Google Chrome.
• Confirmed my Creative Cloud Premium subscription is active.

My system

• MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020)
• Intel Core i5
• 16 GB RAM
• macOS Tahoe 26.5.1

Since another project of almost identical length works perfectly on the same computer and account, I don't believe this is a browser, hardware or account issue. It appears to be isolated to this specific project.

Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, were you able to recover the project or resolve the issue?

This is the first episode of a new podcast, so I'm really hoping the recording itself can be recovered if the issue is with the editor rather than the underlying media.
