One guest's early answers missing from my show

Hi there, we recorded our first show using Adobe Podcasts last week. The show generally went very well. However, one guest’s earlier answers were missing from the tape. He did appear on the recording screen so we were unaware there was any issue. Thankfully we always keep a tape (voice memo) running as backup so we were able to enhance this in post. 

Any idea how I can stop this happening again? Many thanks.
